Summer sizzles => Blockbuster barrage.
But given the soddy sate of releases over the past year, I am really pumped about some of the menagerie this Heatwave brings.
When I say blockbuster, I mean BLOCKBUSTER. Yeahh! It's that time of the year when HolLyWoOd goes all guns blazin!
So before I enlist a few movies that one should watch out for. Heres a little animal trivia:
The 'Wolverine', as fact has it, is related to the "Weasel" family. They are known to be very shy and like most weasels the wolverine is scarcely seen. And to disregard certain misconceptions, the wolverine is not in any which way related to the Wolf. However, if it may seem placatory, the wolverine is much more resourceful than a wolf. No doubt they are very fierce ... yes they are. But despite what some 'lass' might tell you in your most comforting of times, maybe in some desolate cold country cabin - Wolverines Cannot and Do not howl. Regardless of whatever resides in the moon!
Also the probablity that someones head (on being completely dismembered due to a wolverines fierce claws of course) traces a perfect elliptical/circular path whilst traversing in the direction of acceleration due to a matter of gravity is: ... Well what do you know! My calculator just died from disbeleif!
So look around you ... look around you ... look around you
Heres a good one. Whats the height of desperation?
I'll give you a clue ... Its monsters vs aliens.
And since this blog is rated (G) I don't want to say anything about Zack 'Douchebag' Snyder and his inability to render unto film even if 90% of the work were cut out from him. Hell, I'd rather watcha Barbarella all over again. Mr. Moore, you have my utmost condolences.
But yeah. Star Trek is really good.
Coming up:
District 9, G I Joe, Inglorius Basterds, Funny People, Up (in 3D).
You know what's Not missing from there - Transformers 2.
